Acceptance of Terms

By using an app published by Lattecodelabs, you agree to these Terms of Service and agree to be legally bound by them. If an app links to terms of its own, those terms govern your use of that app.

Description of Service

We publish iOS apps for everyday tasks. Several use artificial intelligence to identify, describe, or estimate the size of items from photographs you provide. Others convert currencies, transform audio on your device, or help you keep track of things you enter yourself. Some apps are free outright; in others, some features require a purchase.

Purchases and Billing

a. Free and Paid Apps:

Some of our apps are entirely free and offer nothing to buy. Others are free to use with some features unlocked by a purchase. Where an app offers no purchases, the rest of this section does not apply to it.

b. Purchases through Apple:

All purchases are sold through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple Account. The price, the billing period, and the terms of any free trial are shown in the app and on the App Store listing before you confirm a purchase.

c. Automatic Renewal:

An auto-renewing subscription renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings; uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid period unless cancelled before it ends.

d. One-Time and Lifetime Purchases:

Some apps offer a one-time purchase instead of, or alongside, a subscription. These do not renew and are not billed again. A purchase is tied to the Apple Account that made it and can be restored on your other devices signed in to that same account, using the app's "Restore Purchase" option. It cannot be transferred to a different Apple Account.

e. Pricing Changes:

We reserve the right to modify pricing, subscription terms, or associated benefits at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app or our website. All purchases are processed through Apple's secure payment system and are subject to Apple's terms of service.

f. Refunds:

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, not by us. You may request one through Apple's support channels.

Usage Limitations

a. Service Limitations:

We reserve the right to limit the number of free identifications available to users and may modify or discontinue our services at any time. Paid users are entitled to access subject to fair usage; to maintain service quality we may apply rate limits in cases of unusually high usage. These limits are generous and should not affect typical use.

b. Acceptable Use:

You may not use our apps to break the law, to submit content you have no right to submit, to interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our services, or to resell or redistribute results at scale.

Important Disclaimer

Identification results are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. They should not be used as professional authentication, appraisal, or valuation. Always consult a qualified expert for high-value items.

The same applies to every other output our apps produce. Estimated measurements depend on image quality, lighting, and positioning, and must not be relied on where accuracy matters — including medical dosing, commercial transactions, jewelry appraisal, laboratory work, shipping and postage, or cooking. Use a calibrated, professional-grade instrument instead. Exchange rates come from publicly available sources, are informational, and should be verified with a financial institution before any transaction. Processed audio is provided for entertainment and educational use, and results vary with the quality and complexity of the source.

Where an app helps you keep track of something, it is a personal log: it records what you enter and reminds you about it. It does not buy, cancel, renew, or manage anything on your behalf, and it cannot guarantee that what you entered is correct or that a reminder will arrive. Acting on those records — or failing to — remains your responsibility.

Intellectual Property

a. Ownership:

All content within our apps—including text, images, and code—is the intellectual property of Lattecodelabs and is protected by copyright and applicable laws.

b. Usage Restrictions:

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of an app without prior written permission.

c. Your Content:

Photographs you submit remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to process them and return a result, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Use of Third-Party AI Services

Certain features are enabled by third-party AI service providers, such as OpenAI or other similar providers. While we aim to deliver accurate results, we are not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or service interruptions caused by these external services.

Privacy

Use of our apps is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your data is collected, processed, and protected.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to an app at any time and for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Our apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind—express or implied—including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or availability.

Limitation of Liability

a. General Limitation:

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of our apps, including decisions made on the basis of a result they produced. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

b. Indemnification:

By using our apps, you agree to hold harmless Lattecodelabs, along with any associated employees, affiliates, and partners, from any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your use of an app or from decisions made based on its output.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our website, and the date above will be revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
