App Permissions
The SubKit app requires certain permissions to function properly:
Notifications: We need access to send you notifications about upcoming subscriptions that you've entered into the app.
You can manage or deny these permissions at any time in your device's system settings.
Data Storage and Syncing
All of your subscriptions and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, your data will also be stored in iCloud via Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in a private iCloud database that only you can access. The developer of the app has no access to this data.
If you ever want to stop syncing your data to iCloud or remove it, you can do so in the app settings. You can also delete data from iCloud by following these steps:
- Delete the SubKit app from all your devices.
- Open the Settings app, go to [your name] > iCloud > Storage > SubKit > Delete Data from iCloud.
If you don't see the SubKit app listed under iCloud Storage, there's no data stored there.
Analytics
The SubKit app does not collect any usage analytics or data. However, Apple may collect crash reports and other statistics, which may be shared with developers. If you wish to opt-out of sharing this data, you can do so by:
- Opening the Settings app.
- Going to Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
- Turning off "Share With App Developers."
For more information on Apple's data practices, you can refer to their website.
